As well as being the father to twins Riley and Mason, Brad Lidstone is also the founder and Co-Director of Westshore Basketball, the head coach of the Belmont Senior Girls team, a coach to the SVI Girls Basketball program, and a school teacher at Spencer Middle School. With over 20 years of coaching experience Brad’s playbook is overflowing with knowledge, ready to be taught to Westshore Basketball members.

Founder and Co-Director of Westshore Basketball, Curt Spaven is one of the driving forces behind the success of the program. Curt recently coached the Belmont Junior A boys team to a 4th place finish at provincials, but is better known for being Alison’s husband and a great father to his seven wonderful children Erik, Christian, Tyler, Adam, Nicola, Matthew, and Zachary.

As a teacher in the Westshore area, Brent is great at connecting with kids and uses his 16+ years of coaching experience to develop players of all ages. Coach Brent worked alongside Canadian basketball superstar Eli Pasquale as a camp organizer. We are pleased to announce that Brent is the NEW Director of Westshore Rain Basketball!
